Water Row will earn its name today,
for the river's busy staking its claim,
and if flooding's your curse then stay away:
our Sudbury's grown tired of being tame.
Its had enough of its glacial flow
and feels the seasonal urge to rise
over the banks that border the Row,
so seeking a high road might be wise.
But the Passover season's nearly here,
and if the Row's for you then please take heart,
just remember as you carefully steer
that deep waters have been known to part.
