SHAYS' REBELLION POSTSCRIPT

Two-hundred and ten (210) years
                            to the day
               that rebel farmers surrendered
         in Petersham, Mass.,

twenty-one (21) years
                            to the day
                that I met her in back of the Woolworth's,
         in Central Square, Cambridge,

I married Sandy Shea,
                       but Shea's rebellion
                will never end.
